About me
Janet Patterson, MD is an associate professor in clinical pediatrics at SIU School of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Developmental / Behavioral Medicine. She received her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL, and completed a pediatric residency at SIU School of Medicine. She completed fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Health at the University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, IL. In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Patterson has administrative experience as the Chief Medical Officer at the Community Health Improvement Center in Decatur, Illinois, the Medical Director of the Children’s Diagnostic Clinic at SIU School of Medicine, and the Medical Director of Autism Services with Easter Seals of Central Illinois. Dr. Patterson is board certified in pediatrics and developmental/behavioral medicine, and serves as the Department of Pediatrics Program Director for Graduate Medical Education.
