Samuel Grampsas, MD

Dr. Samuel A. Grampsas is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery in Urology at SIU Medicine. As Director of the Pelvic Wellness Center, he specializes in female urology and provides his patients with comprehensive evaluation and treatment of simple and complex urologic conditions. This includes urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, UTIs, Pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and problems affecting female sexual health. He offers the latest therapies including Botox injections, neurostimulation, urodynamics, biofeedback, and pelvic organ prolapse reconstruction. The Pelvic Wellness Center was recently designated as a Center of Excellence for the InterStim^TM system by Medtronic. InterStim^TM is a neuromodulation therapy that treats symptoms of urinary incontinence.

Dr. Grampsas earned his medical degree and completed a Urology residency at the University of Colorado Medical School in Denver, Colorado. He is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons and is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Grampsas sees patients in the SIU Pelvic Wellness Center.
