Aysha Rafaquat, MD, is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at SIU School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric hospital medicine. She completed her residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI. She earned a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery degree at Dow Medical College, now known as Dow University of Health and Science, in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed a pediatric residency at Dow University of Health Sciences, Civil Hospital in Karachi. Board certified in pediatrics, Rafaquat is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Hospital Medicine section, and specializes in the acute care of hospitalized children.
