    Dana Crosby, MD, is chair and an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Crosby is a neurorhinologist and endoscopic skull base surgeon with advanced training in the endoscopic treatment of diseases of the sinuses and skull base. Diseases treated include: chronic infection and inflammation of the sinuses, nasal polyps, sinus cancers, CSF leaks, pituitary and other tumors of the skull base, as well as, endoscopic approaches to orbital issues including orbital decompression, dacryocystorhinostomy, and tumors of the orbital apex.

    Dr. Crosby attended college at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Southern Illinois University. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. She is also completed a Masters in Public Health Candidate at Rollin’s School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Dr. Crosby’s research is focused on identifying factors that impact treatment outcomes of chronic rhinosinusitis, sinonasal cancer, and skull base tumors. The goal is to identify methods that will ultimately improve patient outcomes. She is a member of the American Rhinologic Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the Society of University Otolaryngologists.
