Douglas Onuscheck, MD
About me
Dr. Douglas Onuscheck was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in North Carolina. He went to college at the University of Notre Dame where he lettered as a high jumper on the track and field team.
Dr. Onuscheck attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he not only developed my interest in radiology, but was also lucky enough to meet his wife, who is an attending Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist in the Otolaryngology Department at SIU.
He chose radiology because it is a broad field that touches every specialty of medicine. However, likely due to his athletic background, he finds musculoskeletal radiology the most interesting. During his free time, he enjoy exercising, participating in and watching all sports, and spending time with his wife. Together, they love to catch the latest movies, travel and try new restaurants.
