The Smith Alzheimer's Center at SIU Medicine is partnering with Tina Montgomery and local organizations to dive deeper into critical topics regarding Alzheimer's and dementia, which disproportionately affect African-American communities. This series is intended to spark conversation and help educate the community about different topics surrounding dementia and is led by topic experts.
On Saturday, November 2, the conversation will center around better understanding Alzheimer's and dementia, navigating the health care system, and how to advocate for your loved ones and their needs.
