Grief Support Group for Farmers and Farm Families

Navigating grief can be tough, especially for those in our farming community. Join the SIU Medicine’s Farm Family Resource Initiative’s (FFRI) virtual Grief Support Group to find a safe, confidential space to share your feelings and find solace. Presented by Rachel Brown, an experienced counselor with a background in agriculture.

MORE ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Rachel grew up on a family farm in Mercer County and spent almost five years working for an agriculture company prior to becoming a counselor. Through internships at SIU Center for Family Medicine and Pepper Brown & Associates in Springfield, IL, she gained skills and interventions necessary to help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief and more.
