Join us for cooking demonstrations, recipes, and sample tasting at the Salvation Army, 1600 E. Clear Lake Ave., Springfield, IL.
 

These classes will be led by an SIU Medicine Registered Dietitian, Charlyn Ware. Individuals will have the option to make appointments with the dietitian for more nutrition education as well as an SIU General Internal Medicine physician for primary care.
 

During this class, you'll learn how to use seasonings and spices to cook healthy, low-cost meals. Stick around for the end, and taste-test these delicious recipes. Our instructors will even address important considerations for people with diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, high cholesterol, and obesity.
