    About me

    Dr. Faisal Ibrahim obtained his medical school training followed by Weill Cornell affiliated residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Neurology in Doha, Qatar before moving to the United States, where he completed a residency in Neurology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

    Dr. Ibrahim is a fellowship-trained neurologist specializing in epilepsy.  Dr. Ibrahim's expertise includes comprehensive management of epilepsy in adults, video (electroencephalography) monitoring, ambulatory EEG reading, presurgical evaluation, cortical mapping and invasive EEG monitoring for patients with medically refractory epilepsy and managing neuromodulation devices (Responsive Neuro-stimulation, Vagus nerve stimulation and Deep Brain Stimulation.

    Dr. Ibrahim is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and in epilepsy.  He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.

    Dr. Ibrahim has been elected as a fellow of the European Academy of Neurology and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCPUK).

    He is the recipient of honors academic and research awards.  Dr. Ibrahim has authored several publications on all aspects of Neurology and epilepsy.
