Marissa Butcher, PA-C

Marissa Butcher is a physician assistant with the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at SIU Medicine. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology in 2012, followed by her physician assistant degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2014. Before joining SIU, she worked as a certified nurse assistant in orthopedics at St. John’s Hospital.

Marissa collaborates closely with the department’s otolaryngologists, providing expert, patient-centered care across a broad range of ear, nose and throat conditions. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Phi Theta Kappa.
