    Treatment overview:

Opioid use disorder is a chronic disease, like diabetes or high blood pressure. A person with opioid use disorder can regain a healthy and productive life with treatment. Medications can be used to treat opioid use disorder. Buprenorphine (Suboxone®) is one of those medications and if that is the right choice for you, it may be prescribed.

We offer MAR as a part of a comprehensive program, that includes medical appointments and behavioral therapy sessions. Additional treatments may be suggested based on the patient’s needs.

SIU Medicine would like to be a part of your journey to recovery. To learn more or request an appointment please call: (217)-899-1817.
