Santosh Shrestha, MD

Santosh Shrestha, MD, is an Assistant Professor and the Residency Training Director for the Department of Psychiatry, SIU School of Medicine.  He completed his medical training at the College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur, Nepal.  His psychiatry residency training was completed at SIU School of Medicine in 2011.  He is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training.  Dr. Shrestha serves as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Memorial Medical Center. 

Dr. Shrestha is interested in curriculum development and medical education.  He also has an interest in developmental disabilities and borderline personality disorder.
