About me
Taryn Ellison is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor from Central Illinois.
She has experience working primarily with adults with issues ranging from severe mental illness and substance abuse to relationship and self-esteem concerns. She also has experience working in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Taryn is a strong advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and hopes to be a safe space for all patients. She works to maintain cultural sensitivity and antiracism within her counseling relationships. She also has a passion for working on harm reduction approaches for people looking to change their substance use/abuse.
