Skin Cancer

    Overview

Skin cancer can range in type from less aggressive and relatively benign carcinomas to aggressive and dangerous forms of melanoma.  Consult an SIU HealthCare provider if you notice any abnormal or new skin growths, or changes in pre-existing features, such as discoloration or change in the size/shape of moles or freckles, as these are symptoms of skin cancer.
