Spleen Injuries

    Overview

Spleen injuries are typically the result of an injury to the belly. The injury may be a bruise or a rupture, and may be the result of such injuries as a car accident, a hit in the stomach during a fight or contact sport such as football, or by falling from a height. Symptoms include nausea, dizziness, elevated heart rate or pain radiating up to your left shoulder.
