Overview
Tuberculosis is a potentially serious bacterial infection attacking the lungs. Symptoms include cough or cough accompanied by blood, weight loss, night sweats, and fever. Treatment isn't always required for those without symptoms. Patients displaying symptoms will likely require an extensive course of treatment including multiple antibiotics.
