Latisha O'Neal, LCSW
About me
Latisha was born and raised in Central Illinois. Latisha received her Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University, with a major in Social Work and a Minor in Sociology. Latisha received her Master’s Degree also from Illinois State University, with a major in Social Work.
Latisha’s work concentration has been in community mental health , which has allowed her to work with many different populations. Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, strength based, with an added touch of humor.
Latisha’s ultimate desire is that every population knows that it is OK to ask for help, and strives to help take the stigma out of receiving mental health services.
When Latisha is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being actively involved in her church and faith community, reading, learning, and spending quiet time to decompress, refresh and refocus.
