This includes any study that is: (1) sponsored by Southern Illinois University School of Medicine; (2) conducted in any school of medicine facility; or (3) conducted by school of medicine faculty, staff, residents, or medical students. Research to be performed by a community-based investigator and/or research to be conducted in any school of medicine affiliated hospitals or sites may also be reviewed by the IRB with the appropriate authorization agreements
