Diabetes Education

    Overview

Diabetes education is a long-term process that aims to keep you aware of what it takes to treat the disease, and what you can do to control it. It is a program that is tailored to the unique challenges of each patient, with measurable short- and long-term goals. SIU HealthCare’s diabetes educators will help you manage the disease, including everything from your day-to-day nutritional intake and exercise to blood monitoring and medication.
